I aim to provide memorable and beautiful images, in an unobtrusive manner, using a combination of classic, candid and reportage images that will reflect the occasion, emotion and celebration of your wedding day, which can be looked back upon  to give delight  and pleasure.

   Always on offer are:

  • A pre-wedding consultation
  • All day photography from bridal preparations (if required) to the wedding breakfast speeches
  • Professional editing and retouching of the images
  • The viewing of images in the client area of the website.

Pricing is upfront and open, so please do look at the wedding price list which is designed to  give you an indication of cost.  Rather than providing you with many different packages, the price list gives an  'album wedding option' or a 'digital wedding option' with the availability of 'add ons' if required. (such as larger album sizes, additional album pages, album cover upgrades, mini/parents albums, additional hours etc).

If you would like to chat about any aspect of your wedding photography, then please give me a ring on 07725 845311 or 01480 811087 or send an email.

FAQ
  • Can we have digital images on disc?
Yes, please see the Wedding Price List for details.
  • What happens if it rains on my wedding day?
If it is one of those days where the rain just does not stop falling, then there is little alternative but to use carefully selected areas where the ceremony is taking  place and within your venue (sometimes venues have really lovely indoor features which can be used), albeit it is likely that Speedlite flash as opposed to natural light will be used.   Your wishes in the event of inclement weather will be discussed at your pre wedding consultation.
  • What will you do if your camera fails  on the day?
As a wedding photographer, I always carry a second camera, together with other backup equipment.
  • How long will you be there on the day?
Your wedding will be the only one booked for the day, so I can be there for as long as you would like me to.  Typically it is from the bridal preparations through to the wedding breakfast speeches, so your story can be told in photographs as your day progresses.  As well as images of you, your family and your guests, it is always nice to get those fill in shots of bridal shoes, the dress, flowers, table decorations etc.  Should you wish evening coverage including the first dance, then this can be opted for as an 'add on' which is shown on the price list.
  • How do I choose the images?
The images will be uploaded on to the client area of the website, where you can view & choose them at your leisure. Alternatively if you prefer  a personal viewing of your images on screen can be arranged.
  • Typically, how long does it take for my album to be ready?
The process, from wedding day to album/USB, should take no longer than 3 months to complete.  Clearly, if images are chosen quite quickly, then the process will be completed sooner.  Images for the album should preferably be chosen for the album/USB no later than 8 to 9 weeks after the wedding day.  This will leave suffiicient time for an album to be compiled and for it to be printed prior to the 3 month period expiring.  It is envisaged that mages will generally come off the website (if that is the preferred option for viewing) at the 3 month stage.   In the unlikely event that an album package is not finailised by the client at the post wedding 6 month point, then the photographer has the discretion if needs be, to convert the album option to the digital option (with some reimbursement of the fee paid if applicable).

Do you visit the wedding venue prior to the Wedding Day?
Ordinarily I will visit the church/registry office  and venue prior to the Wedding Day to check out the lighting and suitable locations for the photographs.  If possible, I will have spoken to the minister/registrar regarding their rules on photography during the service and also to the wedding organiser at the venue. It is of note that vicars/ministers have differing views on photography in their churches, some allowing no photography during the actual service and others discreet photography throughout its entirety.
  • Can you edit/retouch the images?
Yes, if required the majority of skin blemishes (eg spots, scratches, small area of dry skin) can be removed without problem, albeit any birthmark will not be removed unless a request has been made to do so.  Photography effects can include a change of colour to black and white or sepia, vignetting or spot colouring etc.
